When Collaboration makes sense

We got so bored of so called collaborations that everyone is partnering with an artist and promoting themselves in every social media platform. So we decided to go back in time and stepping to 2008. The time when collaborations make sense and fulfill our expectations in other words amaze us.

“Gobbledigook”, the first track on Sigur Rós‘ album ‘Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust’ was directed by Arni & Kinski as well as collaborating with Ryan McGinley and cinematographer Christopher Doyle shot the video in May 2008.

Ryan McGinley’s work is pure, natural, alive and perfectly suited for The Icelandic band.

To learn more about McGinley see his bio in Artsy.
